‘Building tight' is the new buzz word in the construction industry and at Cymru Sealants we pride ourselves in helping companies meet the 2006 building regulations for air tightness.
Also as part of the building regulations Part L (2002) for all new buildings with a gross floor area over 1,000 M2 an air tightness certificate has to be provided.
This means extensive use of sealants and expanding foams in order to achieve this. This work is often awkward to access and overcome, requiring specialist access. We have a wealth of experience in understanding such works, often with fire-rated sealants.
